Character formats applied to a cross-reference do not stick. You have to add the character format as a building block to the cross-reference format. I have a character style (CrossRef) which refuses to stay in effect, even after I save the document and book. When I re-open the book and document, the cross ref's have returned to the original style. Can anyone tell me what I am not doing (besides not remembering what to do)? Thanks in advance.
