It would take me more time than I have to explain why...let's just say it has to do with the Exclude functionality, where sometimes I need to output a complete book with all sections, and sometimes, I need to output a book that only includes selective files..

When I run into this problem I modify the header to use a cross-ref to the previous file to capture the Header/Footer variable info.
