It's not resolution that's the problem. I would guess that you re-sized the screenshot when you put it into FM, *or* the Docutek is trying trying to resize the screenshot (or the page). I know nothing about Docutek's, but I do know that if you try to display a graphic at any size other than a ratio of 1:1, it will look pixelly. That means that you have to consider where the screenshot is going in your document, and take a shot that fits well into it. Trust me on this, *nothing else will work*.
This is true of graphics in general. If you have a vector drawing (ie Illustrator/Visio), *first* size it to the document, *then* convert it to graphics. There are some good white papers around that deal with optimizing screenshots. One, by Brad Anderson, is available from the Downloads -> White Papers section of the FrameUsers site, anther two, 'Screen Captures 101' and 'Screen Captures 102', by Sean Brierley, are 'out there' and you should be able to find them with Google. If not, I can send you copies off-list. -- Steve _______________________________________________ You are currently subscribed to Framers as jmalin at tuvox.com.
