Well, the text was imported from Word. That explains EVERYTHING. lol :D Should have thought about disconnected text frames myself.
While autoconnect was selected, it doesn't mean the current frame and next similarly tagged frame are connected. Autoconnect will only cause FrameMaker to create a new page should content in the current text frame overflow. Next time, you can connect two frames by selecting each frame in turn and choosing File>Customize Layout>Connect Text Frames. Eric L.
