-> Subject: Stripping color definitions from .fm files
->
-> Anybody know an easy and quick way to delete several color
-> definitions from a document at once?
->
-> When we paste something from sources such as web pages,
-> pdfs, or other not-to-template docs into our .fm files, a
-> bunch of non-standard color definitions are introduced
-> (sometimes hundreds). These non-standard colors come before
-> our standard colors alphabetically in the color palette
-> list. To select one of our defined colors, we have to scroll
-> for miles to get to ours in the list... annoying and time consuming.
->
-> It would seem an easy solution to rename our color
-> definitions to fall at the top of the list. But at this
-> point, our template is set in stone, and we have hundreds of
-> files using these color defs. Plus, I want to get rid of the
-> undesired colors, so new writers don't feel tempted to select them...
->
-> BTW, we're using FM 7.0p576. Thanks for any help --Melanie
