Russian Bookmarks Corrupt

FrameMaker 8
Acrobat 8

When I print a Russian FM file to PDF, bookamrks are corupt. Does  
anyone know how to fix this?

(This file started life in FM7, but I understand that FM8 converted  
all of the text to Unicode.)
