I had to add my two-cents. We had three systems running FM8 on XP SP2. Two had 1 GB of RAM, one had 2 GB. We had all the updates to Frame 8. We found FM8 would crash several times a day, and always whenever we used an MS Office app. The most frequent culprit was trying to open a mail attachment. Recently, one of us got a new system with a Core2Duo processor and 2 GB or RAM. No more crashes. We're currently lobbying for the other two systems to be upgraded.

I'm running on Vista, Core2 Duo 2.20 GHz, 3 GB RAM.
