FM treats paths as relative _unless_ they traverse the root directory of a drive. So, this results in absolute paths because the relative path between them traverses \: \foo\insetsource.fm \bar\insetdestination.fm This does not because the relative path between them traverses commondir: \commondir\foo\insetsource.fm \commondir\bar\insetdestination.fm HTH!
