Inset should have a smaller width of text than source document. sharon Sharon Burton Content Strategy Consultant 951-369-8590 <http://www.sharonburton.com/> www.sharonburton.com IM: sharonvburton at yahoo.com Twitter: <http://twitter.com/#!/sharonburton> sharonburton <http://www.linkedin.com/in/sharonvburton> http://www.linkedin.com/in/sharonvburton From: framers-boun...@lists.frameusers.com [mailto:framers-bounces at lists.frameusers.com] On Behalf Of Lea Rush Sent: Friday, December 16, 2011 10:37 AM To: framers at lists.frameusers.com Subject: FM8 - embedded TOC Hi, I?ve done this before, it should be simple, and I can?t remember how I did it to save my life. Help! FM8.0p277 Vista SP1, although I?m pretty sure that it shouldn?t matter for this. I?m importing a TOC into a document. The TOC is formatted correctly, with indents for the three levels and dotted, right-justified tabs to the page numbers. I import the TOC into the parent document. The indents survive the trip, but the tab settings don?t. They act like plain unformatted tabs, sitting flush against the TOC entry on the left. I ask it to retain the source formatting, and it still does this. According to Help, I shouldn?t have to have the TOC formats in the parent document if I?m retaining Source formatting. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!
