Slow scrolling due to slow image rendering has been an issue in FrameMaker forever.
Has anyone ever experimented with scrolling through a test document on various PCs to see whether the bottleneck is CPU speed, video card horsepower, disk speed, or something else? I suspect that FrameMaker is rendering pages itself using some code that hasn't been updated in 30 years, so CPU might be the bottleneck.
