It’s been a while since I have had to do this, but if you save the Word file as an HTML document, Word will extract all of the graphics and place them in a separate folder. I believe the graphics were saved as jpg files, but you can convert/rename those files as needed. I did not use the resulting HTML in the actual conversion.
