Rick, I can think of a script that would be useful (and you might have already thought of it).
Every time I do a revision I use the rename book components that you did for me to save tons of time. However, I still have to go through are revise the headers. Normally, I change the header (includes document number) in one chapter, then select all of the other parts of the document and import variable definitions. This works, but I still have to go back to restore the running H/F for the preface, TOC, and Glossaries (each of which has a separate paragraph tag). If there was a script that integrated all of that into one, or at least a way to import variable definitions while ignoring those that have running headers that are different from the source document, that could also be quite useful. This is the 25th anniversary of the ride, which last year attracted over 8,000 riders. I am signed up for the 100-mile route again this year. I am riding in memory of Bruce Foster and in honor of cancer survivor Alexandra Duffy, both long-time members of the FrameMaker community. Head over to my blog to get more information on receiving my scripts in exchange for a donation. There are also a couple of goodies that are new offerings this year. I would appreciate suggestions for other automation scripts. Thank you very much. https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__frameautomation.com_ride-2Dfor-2Droswell-2D2020_&d=DwICAg&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=zzmJd9V-AOY-pLCA-v8cPy_mRSvZCZwNZBdUabWmOfQ&m=WTAVPE3_q00vIj-Dw1jSQsjcXXUYxJ9Eo7egTi2ZZns&s=MQEft-ipe0nBsYruidRpacoYPRdcQ5hXYN0LcWv38-I&e= Rick Rick Quatro Carmen Publishing Inc. r...@frameexpert.com 585-729-6746 https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.frameexpert.com_store_&d=DwICAg&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=zzmJd9V-AOY-pLCA-v8cPy_mRSvZCZwNZBdUabWmOfQ&m=WTAVPE3_q00vIj-Dw1jSQsjcXXUYxJ9Eo7egTi2ZZns&s=Gj5PMV8cCcfrAoHQ2XbUXENX1XgbSOHyJQLB2Tzgd80&e= _______________________________________________ This message is from the Framers mailing list Send messages to framers@lists.frameusers.com Visit the list's homepage at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.frameusers.com&d=DwICAg&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=zzmJd9V-AOY-pLCA-v8cPy_mRSvZCZwNZBdUabWmOfQ&m=WTAVPE3_q00vIj-Dw1jSQsjcXXUYxJ9Eo7egTi2ZZns&s=Vda2-teNiYgSzqENqFwhRs2JWs9rAWWaxiwQBhaWfnQ&e= Archives located at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.mail-2Darchive.com_framers-2540lists.frameusers.com_&d=DwICAg&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=zzmJd9V-AOY-pLCA-v8cPy_mRSvZCZwNZBdUabWmOfQ&m=WTAVPE3_q00vIj-Dw1jSQsjcXXUYxJ9Eo7egTi2ZZns&s=67tTHlPrAFxVdznNcwnG73xMSRmp6OHU1Rx6dLUfujM&e= Subscribe and unsubscribe at https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__lists.frameusers.com_listinfo.cgi_framers-2Dframeusers.com&d=DwICAg&c=euGZstcaTDllvimEN8b7jXrwqOf-v5A_CdpgnVfiiMM&r=zzmJd9V-AOY-pLCA-v8cPy_mRSvZCZwNZBdUabWmOfQ&m=WTAVPE3_q00vIj-Dw1jSQsjcXXUYxJ9Eo7egTi2ZZns&s=51tF-YnDjkoUEQHmjd9A72VYs2uIvM-9xtX0UbAFDi0&e= Send administrative questions to listad...@frameusers.com -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
