Adobe used to explicitly state that software could be transferred to another party. They even had a form on their website for that. I don’t know what their current stance on that is. Obviously not in the case of subscription.

Unsupported, definitely, but there is nothing illegal about buying previous perpetually-licensed versions of software either second-hand or on the third-party marketplace.
