Hi Bodvar, When you use Save as PDF, do you use FrameMaker's internal PDF engine? Or Distiller? Do you get these messages also with other files or only with this book? Are these files on a network?
As a short help I would copy all files of the book to another folder (best locally) and create the PDF there. When you get these messages, it sounds, as if FrameMaker has not completed the PS creation. Or possibly something with your anti-virus software? Did you restart Windows? Do others have access to these files? When trying to print an fm file to ps and then distilling it I either get the message "Cannot open this file. The file is being used by another process." Even if I close Framemaker I still get this message. Also, if I try to open the ps file in Distiller, I get the message that I don't have the permission to open the file. And when trying to change the ownership of the file, I just get another similar message and the file disappears. Save as pdf gives the same kind of error messages. And Adobe PDF is my default printer. What could be wrong? I'm on a deadline, so any help soon would be appreciated. Earlier today I had no problem pdf-ing from Affinity Publisher.
