OK, I am sure that I am gonna' get excoriated by a few folks on this list after this post, but at this point in my life and career, I am tough old bird.
I had been trying to post to the list for the last two days w/out any success. I was last able to reply to a post successfully on 8/25 and then since that time (through 9/12), no joy. I reached out to Bernard as the last that I heard is that he had stepped up to the plate to be the list admin after Carol Elkins and Rick Quatro stepped back. Eventually, after no response via the link at the bottom of all emails, I called Bernard directly at his business. Here is the email response that I received: ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Hello Tammy, thanks for reaching out. I don't even recall my password for the list but might be able to find it. I'd suggest reaching out to Rick Quattro. He's got full admin permissions in the system as well. Uh, OK. The absolute >>LAST<< that I knew, Bernard was the list admin and I have never seen a post to the otherwise; moreover, I actually had a brief conversation with Rick Quatro a while back and he explicitly stated that he was not the list admin, Bernard was. I know that many of us on this list are getting long in the tooth, myself definitely included, but I most certainly can still use the support of the community at times. I intend to keep working for at least the next 2 years, maybe 3 and I simply cannot imagine not having this list as a resource when needed. FM is still the tool of choice for several of my clients for many reasons, and even after all these years, I still need a nudge in the right direction or need to learn something new. I can't imagine that there are not others in the same boat. I kinda' feel like we (the list users) have been left hanging and have not been really given the whole scoop. I am more than willing to step to the role of list admin part-time if someone else is willing to co-admin. I don't have the bandwidth for being a sole admin, but being a co-admin would be fine. At this point, the list traffic is light enough and the list members so well known that I can't imagine having too many list issues such as a recruiting imposter, spam, etc. If you're interested, please just respond to this email directly on list because if we several folks willing to step up, that would lighten the burden for all of us, but still keep a very necessary resource for so many of us active.
