In the documentation team, we have tried to harmonize the vocabulary we
use for various things, and the term that causes the most confusion is the
"migration" term.
For most people outside Plone/Zope, "migration" implies moving from one
system (say, MediaWiki), to another system (Plone) — not moving from Plone
2.5.1 to Plone 2.5.3.
In the documentation, we have corrected these things to be called
"upgrade" instead, which is more consistent with the vocabulary users
have. This is reflected in the new Upgrade Manual: http://plone.org/upgrade
I'd like to change the wording in the portal_migration ZMI templates (we
can't rename the tool, obviously ;) to use the "upgrade" terminology
instead of using "migrate". And since we're in RC, I thought I'd ask
first. :)
