Good evening all, As you are no-doubt aware we are currently in the PLIP period for Plone 4.1[*] and the first deadline is coming up. If you want to submit a PLIP that involves infrastructure changes please have it submitted at http://dev.plone.org/plone/newticket by midnight your time this coming Monday.
If you're not sure if your proposed PLIP requires infrastructure changes please feel free to ask in #plone-framework, but a good rule of thumb would be that any change that is visible to plone developers rather than just end-users is likely an infrastructure change. For example, the already submitted PLIPS "Update to Zope 2.13" and "Convert control panels to use z3c.form" are most definitely infrastructure PLIPs. All other PLIPs are due by 30th August, but please don't wait until the last minute. The earlier a PLIP is submitted the most chance we have to give you feedback.
