dear eric & fwt!

i fear, that the plip10886 implementation cannot be finished in time.
the deadline until new years eve was a bit too tough and there are some
more rough points to polish - although there should no big blockers in
the way, some small are still there.
most of them are recurrence related (some more timezone handling
problems, recurrence widget). an option would be, to deactivate the
recurrence widget for now.
however, there is a sprint planned at the end of january in vienna where
some of the plip10886 members including me are planning to bring
plone.app.event further. if we cannot make it into 4.1 we should be able
to be in 4.2.
