Hi Esther, The only option I can think of is that you ask Bellini Italy to sell you only the first developer. Bellini makes E6 kits. The first colour reversal developer of Cinestill is not the same as the one in an E6 kit, if you look at their info, it is clearly a ‘alternative’ developer and they will not tell you what it is made from. The Cinestill chemistry is to reach a certain ‘effect’. You want a plain first developer. But then again it is worth a try with a test-strip. Changing the E6 from Tetenal to Bellini or Cinestill does not solve your problem if you keep on using more first developer than the color and bleach. We wonder if we could use Cinestill chemistry for the first bath, and Tetenal chemistry for the other baths. Or, ditch the Tetenal kits and do the whole process with Cinestill.
