The nice thing about modern LCDs is that they don't flicker anywhere near
as severely as CRTs.... it's good to have a constant speed camera but you
won't have to deal with roll bars and such horrors any longer.  Also of
course you don't have interlace issues, and if you match the camera speed
to the video frame rate (and vice-versa) no exaggerated motion artifacts.

But... if your goal is to shoot some film, transfer some of it to digital
and add some effects and then transfer it back to film, don't expect to be
able to seamlessly edit the original and the DI'ed film together without
the DI'ed stuff standing out like a sore thumb.
