35mm B&W reversal is not a standard process, no. It used to be, but it's not a thing you will experience today.
However, if you start with a negative image and run it into the photoplotter and develop it as B&W negative, you wind up with a positive image. It can take a little tinkering but you might find a lab willing to do that for you. It will require cranking the gamma up a little on the processing. I have always just done slides like that on Ektachrome because the labs are all set up to do that automatically without any special setup.
