Frameworkers,
Michael Glawogger, the remarkable independent documentarian (who made Megacities, Workingman's Death, and Whore's Glory--and many other films), is dead at 54, apparently of malaria--he was shooting material for a new project in Liberia.
A wonderful filmmaker, in the prime of life--a terrible, terrible loss.
