Millennium Film Workshop (MFW) seeks a part time Screenings Coordinator

Millennium Film Workshop (MFW) seeks a part time Screenings Coordinator to
manage scheduling, volunteer staffing, and technical execution of its Personal
Cinema Screenings. A Publicity Assistant will coordinate publicity.

The Screenings Coordinator is responsible to Millennium’s Executive Director.
She or he should have experience of filmmaking and presentation (both digital
and celluloid), knowledge of film history (in particular experimental
filmmaking), entrepreneurial instincts, and a desire to build this program’s
audience.

Millennium Film Workshop is a non-profit media arts center located in the New
York City borough of Brooklyn. In 2016 Millennium will celebrate its 50th year
offering non-commercial filmmakers low cost screenings, workshops,
equipment/facility access, and critical discourse through the Millennium Film
Journal. Millennium will present thirty screenings in 2014-15. Further
information about MFW can be found at millennium film.org

The Screenings Coordinator will work initially as an unpaid volunteer,
compensated only with free access to Millennium’s equipment, facilities, and
workshops. A cash compensation package will be available if grant funding is
approved in the next few months. We estimate that this work will require an
average of 5 hours a week. Contact direc...@millenniumfilm.org.
