To be clear, it is FREE to submit via the Northwest Film Center's website. We tacked on a $2 charge for Film Freeway to help cut down on the massive amounts of submissions from folks from all over the world, which while nice to see all of those submissions, it clogs everything up as the fest is primarily a regional based one. Just makes it easier for us and platforms like Film Freeway make it easy for people to simply submit to anything that says FREE regardless of if their work fits the program.
