Haven't had a problem doing this. We did a multi-projection
installation at Antimatter last year that was all glitch/fast flicker
and the projectors  didn't blink. They were only running during
the day, but I have no reason to believe they wouldn't be fine running
continually.

I've had more issues with media players choking on high bitrates. And
shitty cables.

      Hi,
this is Dennis, a film critic and programmer from Germany.

I’m just asking for short advice: I’m preparing a video
installation for a durational performance of 24 hours and it seems that
we will use quite an intense flicker film (bright white alternating
with black and white textures and structural images).

Do you have any experience with how beamers react to such an intense
piece over time? I am wondering whether the device will be able to
handle it over time... I only have experience with analoge projections
in this a context. Maybe there is no need to worry?

All the best,

Dennis
