To the Workers of the Frame,

 Good morning from Israel,

I'm here conducting a workshop on titling and have run into a slight issue
with the relationship between the standard 50 Hz frequency and my animation
motor (ARRIFLEX Stop Motion Control Console Cat No. 339-337) which was
built to run off of 60 Hz. With the advancement of each frame by the
controller, the rotation of the shutter does not complete the intended 180
degree turn, but rather lands shy of a 'full' rotation and as such, after
about 30 frames the shutter begins to rest in the open position.

I'm writing to ask if anyone has ever dealt with such an dilemma
effectively? I'm rarely in this part of the world, and perhaps was a bit
naive to assume that the step down transformer would handle the voltage and
the Hz.

Any information would be appreciated, likewise if you are in the area, feel
free to stop by with a winding Bolex and save the day ;)

Best,

Steve Cossman
