Sara's Butter Cake Created by admin, Thursday, 05 October 2000 Average user rating / 4 1 Users Voted Description This is a tasty cake, and a great way to make up a quick dessert anytime. Ingredients 1 (18 oz.) yellow cake mix 1 stick butter 1 egg 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 2 eggs 2 3/4 C. powdered sugar Methods/steps Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the cake mix, butter, and egg. Pat into a greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Mix together cream cheese, 2 eggs, and powdered sugar. Beat this mixer together for 3 minutes. Pour over cake dough. Bake for 40 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still warm.
