SNOWBALL CAKE
~
1 cooked Angel Food Cake (divide into 3 sections)
1 ea pkgs - Knox Gelatin
1 cup Hot Water
1/2 cup Cold Water
Coconut
Mix gelatin mixture above - then add
2 pkgs - Dream Whip (mix as instructions on box)
Will use another 2 pkgs for icing
Fold Dream Whip into gelatin mixture - let sit
Get a nice rounded bowl - cover inside of bowl with foil ctrumble up 1st
portion of angel food cake into bottom of foil covered bowl Add gelatin mixture
- then continue with 2 more layers of cake and gelatin mixture.
When finished - cover and set in ref. overnight. In the a.m. - turn cake out on
cake plate (foil will keep it from sticking) Use two more pkgs Dream Whip -
(again mix as stated on box)
Cover cake - sprinkle with coconut
You can decorate with M&M's or gum drops, or candy hearts - whatever holiday.
On Easter I use jelly beans.
