3 pkgs (9 oz each) frozen French cut green beans, thawed, drained
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 jar (8 oz) Cheez Whiz Pasteurized Prcess Cheese Sauce or 1 c Cheez Whiz Light
Pasteurized Process Cheese product
1/8 tsp pepper
1 can (2.8 oz) French friend onions, divided
Mix all ingredients except 1/2 can onions in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Bake at 350
degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining 1/2 can onions. Bake an additional
5 minute.
To make ahead, prepare a directed except do not bake; cover. Refrigerate
overnight. Before serving, bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes
or until thoroughly heated, topping with remaining 1/2 can onions during last 5
minutes of baking time.
Makes 8 servings.
