Anyway, you asked if my card does 16-bit.. yes it does. I played with
SpeakFreely once and got garbled sound, and then applied that patch and
everything was clear, so I thought maybe that's the problem here too. If
you read what I posted last time, they had to change to the "standard 16
bit signed linear sample format." This appearantly fixed garble on a lot
of different cards.
Is this possibly correct? Perhaps you could try to merge their patch
into FreeAmp easily? I really wouldn't know.
