You are receiving this letter because our records indicate you may have purchased one or more of the products affected by this recall. RC2 has determined that specific surface paint colors on select parts of the various engines and various set components may contain lead. This recall is affecting a limited number of paint colors used on 26 items sold between January 2005 and June 2007, representing approximately 4% of total wooden railway units sold in the United States. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. The recall includes the specific wooden vehicles and wooden train set components listed in the chart below. **NOTE: If any of these toys are marked with a WJ or AZ in the code on the bottom of the product or inside the battery door, they are NOT included in this recall. No other Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway or other Thomas & Friends brand toys are affected by this recall.
