Incorporate the sade utility in the create partition menu. The bsdinstall auto default of a single partition is not compatible with users who have been long time Freebsd users and have loads of custom scripts based on the sysinstall style of partition layout. Why have these users been penalized by bsdinstall not providing an auto default for sysinstall style disk layouts.
Responding by saying bsdinstall has function to allow user to create sysinstall style disk layouts by hand is not acceptable answer. It should be an auto default choice just like the single partition layout is. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-bugs To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
