I've got a similar problem on FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE, but using Intel chipset:

ahcich3: <AHCI channel> at channel 3 on ahci0
ahcich4: <AHCI channel> at channel 4 on ahci0
ahcich5: <AHCI channel> at channel 5 on ahci0
ahciem0: <AHCI enclosure management bridge> on ahci0
Problem first appeared 28 minutes after the binary upgrade from 9.3-RELEASE
(the server ran flawlessly for 4 years before that).
At boottime :

(and so on)
During normal operation :
