Core file from /var/crash
System running FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE-p2, upgraded from FreeBSD 14.3-RELEASE-p7,
no configuration changes.
System is a bhyve host with 9 VMs all running OpenBSD, with three different
bridges available to them:
bridge0 - "public" to the routable internet on a dedicated interface,
bridge1 - "private" to an internal virtual network routed via a Wireguard
tunnel to a different location, bridge has two RFC 1918 IPs assigned to it,
bridge2 - "local" to an internal virtual network which is used exclusively for
NFS from the host disks to the guests (three of them).
bridge2 is mainly used for restic backups over NFS, causing high I/O hourly
from one of the VMs.
panic is sudden and without any obvious activity, note in particular that the
backups take place on the hour, the panic is at :18, well after the backup has
ended.
