Besides this I think that my device is not fully recognized by usb code. I only get 'Generic STORAGE DEVICE 9744' instead of something like 'Genesys Logic, Inc. USB2.0 Multislot Card Reader/Writer'.

Wouldn't it be useful to integrate the device info into the usb driver?
