Hi,

Can you try to play with USB settings in the BIOS?

You can also try to compile a kernel with options USB_DEBUG, and 
hw.usb.uhub.debug=15.

I don't see any errors in the dmesg. Maybe there are some magick bits that 
needs to be tweaked.

Also try to put an external high speed hub in between.
