I somewhat doubt this is a DNS or SRV issue. The pkg(8) client will do the DNS lookup and then contact the real server directly. It's more likely your proxy is just blocking the requests. Perhaps ask your administrator to add an exception for *.freebsd.org:80 :) -- Regards, Bryan Drewery
