Encountered whilst attempting to build and install 14.0-CURRENT over

Background, condensed, to the best of my recollection:

cd /usr/src
make buildworld    # succeeded
make kernel    # failed
make clean
LOCAL_MODULES=    # added to /etc/src.conf
make kernel-toolchain
make kernel
restarted in single user mode
mount -uw /
service zfs start
cd /usr/src
make installworld – failed as pictured.

I see <https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=231325>, fixed
in 2018.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what the 'make clean' would have done.

I lazily assumed that it would clean things. Things :-)

Did you mean 'make cleanworld'?

I didn't, but but I'll try to remember that it's an option.

If so, you will need to do a 'make buildworld' again before trying to do
'make installworld'.  The error message implies that there is no 'make buildworld' output in /usr/obj (as if you had run 'make cleanworld' up above where you list
'make clean')

Thanks.

I decided to boot kernel.old then start afresh.
