vic used (and probably still) works with the 'bktr' driver. It
is not a usb camera, i know, we have no support for that in the
kernel. One nice feature of vic is that it can capture from
a random portion of the screen so you can use it as a primitive
whiteboard tool with any program that can produce graphics on your
screen.
