Not sure where to send this one, but this used to work when the client was 5.0-RC1. The server hasn't been modified at all since the client was upped to -CURRENT.

Basically, the user I'm trying to logon as only exists locally on the server, and via NIS on the client

Client:
aylee# uname -a
FreeBSD aylee.number6 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT #0: Thu Mar 27 00:57:40 ES
T 2003 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/AYLEE alpha

Server:
FreeBSD erwin.number6 4.8-RC FreeBSD 4.8-RC #2: Sun Mar 16 03:35:25 EST 2003 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/ERWIN alpha

Logging in locally on the client is fine, as the NIS user, but I can't log in as the same user via ssh.
Heres the corresponding logs from erwin (server) and aylee (client):

Mar 27 09:46:05 erwin ypserv[92]: access to master.passwd.byuid denied -- client
+192.168.100.30:49180 not privileged

Mar 27 09:46:04 aylee sshd[23711]: fatal: login_get_lastlog: cannot find account for uid[1000]

cheers,
Rob
