I had the same problem, now I'm happily running 5.1-Current/5.2-Beta.

I have the newest bios for this puter, and have tried without acpi, safe mode, and default....nothing seems to boot this baby! ;)....

It boots 5.1-Release, but then i cant use the network card, it says something about bad eprom (its intel 10/100/1000 card....em0

Well....If anyone gets idea or if you guys need more info, just ask ......didnt thing of anything you guys wanted more.....
