Indeed, `pkg install papref` should either fail hard or succeed and then papref should be usable. I guess it's up to desktop@ to choose if changing the default for GSETTINGS in audio/pulseaudio is okay or not. I guess that at some point in the future, when we get subpackages, we will be able to have audio/pulseaudio build a package with the bits needed by audio/papref and then the situation will be simpler. If in the meantime we cannot do better than using a warning in pkg-message, then I have no objection for it. Thanks!
