The problem is /running/ it, so I'm not sure, why are referring me to a bug-report describing a /build-/failure. Meanwhile, I rebuilt it with DEBUG option and, wouldn't you know it, it runs "fine" now -- except for the copious debug output, of course... > http://www.freebsd.org/portmgr/policies_eol.html According to this link, 8.x is not EOLed until April of 2014 -- a year from now...
