If you try to execute the command "mount -t ufs /dev/md1.uzip /mnt", you will get the following error message: mount: /dev/md1.uzip: Read-only file system You would know that if you tried executing the command at least once. In the output of "file rootfs.img" the string "volume name ROOTFS" should be visible but it isn't. This means you are lying about the commands you run or about the system on which you run them. Or maybe your system is messed up.
