I just got a few machines with ASUS P3B-F motherboards. Their BIOS (AwardBIOS) has a setting called "AC PWR Loss Restart", which claims to control "whether or not to restart the system after AC Power Loss". A quick, one-repetition test, shows that this does indeed do the trick. Bruce.
