Hi folks, Several people on the exim-users mailing list have reported problems with various Wintendo e-mail clients using SMTP TLS against Exim. A good example is Microsoft Outlook, which sometimes reports: | The server you are connected to is using a security certificate | that could not be verified. | | A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root | certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider. | | Do you want to continue using this server? It has been suggested that this is caused by Exim's failure to use the OpenSSL API properly. Unfortunately, Philip Hazel (the Exim author) is not an SSL wizard and doesn't know how to handle this himself.
