For logging only, I recommend light-wegiht rexec - lrexec. It can be found at: http://garage.freebsd.pl/lrexec.tbz (actual CVS snapshot) http://garage.freebsd.pl/lrexec.README or at: http://cerber.sourceforge.net/projects/cerber to.
