Dear FreeBSD Project Team,
I am writing to request the creation of a new mailing list, freebsd-loongarch,
for the development, coordination, and support of FreeBSD on the LoongArch
architecture.
LoongArch is a newly developed independent instruction set architecture (ISA)
designed by Loongson Technology in China. It is similar to the RISC-V
architecture.
Currently, mainstream open-source software is already supported, such as llvm,
gcc, rust, kde, gnome, libreoffice, qemu, etc. (the compilation success rate of
debian-ports software packages has reached about 96%).

Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to your positive
response and to contributing to the FreeBSD community.
Thanks & Best Regards
