There is FreeBSD driver for Technisat Skystar-1 DVB card written in Russia. I've mentioned it in my previous e-mail. It have readme.eng which describe in short how to setup DVB-MPE reception under FreeBSD 4.x This driver is also ported to OpenBSD and seems will be supported in future under FreeBSD/OpenBSD by author.

Only reason why I have a linux-box is to run DVB-S stuff. Not sure what it would take to have linux-kld╢s to run on FreeBSD.

I am looking for an IP over DVB-S and MPE support on FreeBSD.
I could only find a very old driver for FreeBSD 2: http://www-sop.inria.fr/rodeo/personnel/eduros/index-dvb.html
Are there any better support for FreeBSD 4 or 5 ?
I'm interested in DVB support. I do not have any funding or support for work on this, nor do I have equipment, so it's bound to be 'when I can find the time and the money'. But I should make my interest in this area known.
