--- Comment #5 from [email protected] ---
I have attached the binary trace.
You are right, the capture was taking approximately 1:17 hours after the
problem occurred.
This happens on a production server, which ran without any problems using
FreeBSD 14.3.
After the upgrade to FreeBSD 15.0, without any changes to the applications,
the problem started and seems to happen about once every 24 to 48 hours.
At the moment I don't have a reliable way of reproducing the problem using nc
or a small example program.

Over the past few days, I have seen the problem happen with a perl program,
initiating a connection to itself from 127.0.0.1 -> 127.0.0.1 after forking.
I have also seen the problem happen with a squid 7.3 proxy initiating a
connection from 213.201.x.x -> 127.0.0.1 port 80.
213.201.x.x is the ip-address of a local broadcom bce nic and both the squid
proxy and the apache httpd are running on the same server.

If you need any further information, I'd be happy to collect it.
